Pyrolysis experiments

This dataset presents the results of pyrolysis test runs using sewage sludge and hydrolysis residue as feedstock. The aim of the tests was to assess the behaviour of these waste-derived materials during thermal treatment and to evaluate their potential for further resource recovery and valorisation.

During pyrolysis, the feedstocks are thermally decomposed under oxygen-limited conditions, producing different output fractions such as solid char, liquid products and gases. The test results provide information on the performance of the process, the distribution of the resulting products, and the suitability of sewage sludge and hydrolysis residue as alternative feedstocks for circular resource recovery.

The data support the evaluation and optimisation of pyrolysis as a potential treatment pathway for converting residual materials into valuable secondary resources.
