SUMMARY:Plastics & Packaging CSS Replication Workshop and Study Visit
DESCRIPTION:The second instalment will take place on 21 May 2026 in Budapest and Leányvár (Hungary) and will focus on plastics and packaging solutions. It will bring together project partners\, external stakeholders\, and members of the CircSyst Community of Practice (CoP) to explore how lessons from our demonstrators in Greece\, Hungary and Spain can inspire replication in different regional contexts. Participants will gain practical insights into circular approaches to plastics and packaging\, discuss enabling conditions for replication\, and connect with experts and innovators from across Europe. \nThe event will be co-organised with the Hungarian Economic Development Agency (MGFU) and Ugrinpack\, whose facilities will be visited as part of the programme. Established in 2007\, BCSDH has more than 150 corporate members\, representing business leaders of companies that contribute 40% of Hungary’s GDP. \nThe organization’s primary goal is to promote the integration and implementation of the three pillars of sustainable development—economic growth\, ecological balance\, and social equity—into corporate practices. \nThe Circular Economy Platform was officially established in Hungary in 2018 as an initiative of the Business Council for Sustainable Development in Hungary (BCSDH)\, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands\, and the Ministry of Innovation and Technology.
